We are looking for a full-time Research Associate that will help us study the human gut microbiome.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced research environment

Laboratory Technician with CLIA/CAP experience - Los Alamos, NM

We are looking for a full-time lab technician/technologist to establish and maintain CAP accreditation/CLIA license for NGS and LC/MS laboratories.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to adapt the current operations to CAP accreditation.
  • Train other lab staff.
  • Set up and carry out competency testing.
  • Set up and carry out proficiency testing.
  • Perform QC and audits.
  • Support LIMS integration and automation into the laboratory tasks.

ML Engineer - New York, NY

We are looking for an ML Engineer in Viome’s NYC Office to contribute to a world-class system that uses a variety of statistical machine learning models using supervised and unsupervised techniques.

Responsibilities include:

Your responsibilities include iteratively designing, implementing, and validating a machine learning system that:

  • Uses data from microbial & metabolic profiles for tasks such as clustering, prediction, and hypothesis testing
  • Develop data curation pipelines that perform tasks including ingest, clean, transform, consolidate, resolve entities, link, enrich, etc
  • Utilizes the latest advances in machine learning and deep learning to quickly improve the above models
  • Work closely with and incorporate results from a team that is building a knowledge representation and reasoning using NLP and KRR

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Machine Learning. A Master’s or a PhD, and additional relevant experience are a plus

  • Generate and validate robust methods on Venus (can use GUI or HSL language)

Lab Tech I, Sample Accessioning & Product Assembly Specialist - Los Alamos, NM

We are looking for full-time lab techs. We’re looking to hire team members who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Viome offers a living wage in a respectful and employee-oriented environment. During the first half each shift, you will be working with a team to accession customer samples that arrive at the Viome lab in Los Alamos. This is performed in a laboratory setting where adherence to detail and good lab practices (including personal and interpersonal safety) are essential. Sample IDs will be recorded upon accessioning in Viome’s laboratory information management system (LIMS), with samples transferred to smaller tubes in preparation for processing. 

During the second half of each shift, you will be working in Viome’s kit assembly labs, preparing Viome kits and their components, which will be delivered to customers around the world. This is performed in a laboratory setting where adherence to detail and good lab practices (including personal and interpersonal safety) are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual laboratory tasks

  • Accurately record all sample IDs that arrive at the lab in Viome’s LIMS

  • Pipette and transfer (aliquot) stool samples from primary container to secondary containers

  • Accurately record storage locations of all samples that arrive at the lab in Viome’s LIMS

  • Quality check all samples that arrive at the lab by visual inspection to pass/fail QC

  • Efficiently assemble Viome kits and kit components

  • Ensure that kits IDs are accurately recorded and shipped to Viome customers

Translational Science Customer Care - Mountain View, CA

This employee will work on the translational care team, work with our customer base and customer support team to answer inquiries, collect feedback and continually improve the Viome user experience. This person will also help test software as time permits.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, validate, and release customer results, which include nutritional and supplement recommendations.

  • Track and follow up on special circumstances

  • Identify and troubleshoot aberrancies in the nutritional platform as new information is released

  • Provide support to Engineering, AI and Customer support teams on matters relating to nutrition

  • Capture and systemize feedback in order to continuously improve our product

We are looking for a qualified Accounts Payable to join our fast-paced, rapidly growing company. This position requires a strong level of accounts payable knowledge and professionalism and will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, possess a strong drive to meet/exceed goals in running day to day payable functions and ensure all compliance with company’s policy and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day accounts payable function including vendor database maintenance, create purchase order, vendor invoices/credit memo and payment, record in general ledger with proper account codes
  • Match invoices to inventory in sheets, packing slips and purchase orders. Maintain inventory record for financial reporting purpose
  • Interact actively with receiving and purchasing teams at multiple locations for any pending items or issues
  • Respond to supplier inquiries and correspondences via phone and email

This position requires a strong level of accounts payable knowledge and professionalism and will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, possess a strong drive to meet/exceed goals in running day to day payable functions and ensure all compliance with company’s policy and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day accounts payable function including vendor database maintenance, create purchase order, vendor invoices/credit memo and payment, record in general ledger with proper account codes
  • Match invoices to inventory in sheets, packing slips and purchase orders. Maintain inventory record for financial reporting purpose

This is performed in a laboratory setting where adherence to detail and good lab practices (including personal and interpersonal safety) are essential.
