This is a unique position, as you’ll have the entire picture and you’ll work with other engineers that might focus on one part of the application.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our doctors to ensure that the dashboard allows them to make recommendations effectively and efficiently
  • Collaborate with bioinformaticians to figure out how to display data from the labs
  • Collaborate with other frontend and backend engineers to drive releases in AWS – we’re using ansible
  • Contribute to web services and defining interfaces – we’re using Scala, Slick for web services, but good Java experience is sufficient.
  • Contribute to front-end code – we’re using React and Redux, but Javascript experience with any other modern framework suffices
  • Ensure security of the system – security is important for medical data and we need to be HIPAA compliant, so we’re encrypting all data at rest and in transition using SSL and encrypted storage. You should be able to maintain this and ensure security for the new code.

As a Customer Experience (CX) Manager, you will serve as the main customer advocate, ensuring that processes and customer interactions are designed to provide incredible experiences and delight the customer. This key role will provide guidance over customer support and other resources that deliver the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design customer service processes that scale at every point in the customer lifecycle

  • Stand up infrastructure, tool, and SOPs for our CX team

  • Lead development of the CX knowledge base

This employee will work on the translational science operational team, work with our customer base and customer support team to answer inquiries, collect feedback and continually improve the Viome user experience. This person will also help test software as time permits.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate, review and validate Nutritional and Supplement recommendations

  • Track and follow up on special circumstances

  • Work with Translational Science R&D to create strategies and implement changes to the Viome nutritional platform as new information is released

During the first half each shift, you will be working with a team to accession customer samples that arrive at the Viome lab in Los Alamos. Sample IDs will be recorded upon accessioning in Viome’s laboratory information management system (LIMS), with samples transferred to smaller tubes in preparation for processing. 

During the second half of each shift, you will be working in Viome’s kit assembly labs, preparing Viome kits and their components, which will be delivered to customers around the world. This is performed in a laboratory setting where adherence to detail and good lab practices (including personal and interpersonal safety) are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual laboratory tasks

  • Accurately record all sample IDs that arrive at the lab in Viome’s LIMS

  • Pipette and transfer (aliquot) stool samples from primary container to secondary containers
